This blog now powered by Wordpress 2.6. If you have already install Wordpress 2.5 you can upgrade to Wordpress 2.6 easily. You’ll need 5 minutes to do it (with good internet connection).

Important: Before you do this action, please backup your blog databases first and deactive all plugins. Any risk is yours!!

There are six important steps to upgrade:

1. Backup wp-content folder
2. Delete wp-admin & wp-includes folder from your server.
3. Upload new wp-admin & wp-includes to your server.
4. Overwrite root files, such as wp-app.php
5. Overwrite index.php in wp-content folder.
6. Access to www.yourwebsite.com/wp-admin/ and confirm the update of database.

Avatars, or the well known Gravatars, are tiny images, often called your online identity, picture, badge, logo, or graphic image which represent you and/or your blog. Some use photographs of their face or body, or a body part like an eye, nose, or hand. Others use pictures of animals, flowers, scenics, or graphic images. Many professional bloggers use their logo.

This is about customization your template. Not all Wordpress template have user avatar shown on comments. But don’t worry, you can add it manually.

First go to dashboard or admin page, then go to design and theme editor. On your current theme add this CSS script on Stylesheet (style.css).

In this post I’ll share how to make visitor identity on your Wordpress widgets. First You must know if Wordpress can’t execute PHP on Widgets. So You must install Executable PHP Widget plug in to improve Wordpress ability. You can get this plug in here.

Just download and extract executable PHP Widget. Then upload execphp.php to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory and activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
