Yeah, overall admin page on my cms project is done. But this project for X company had stopped for financial reason. So I’ll plan this project to open source blog management system or usually called blog engine and may be I’ll call it Semesta Blog engine or SimpleSc Blog Engine (Just planning). Actually this is my first project that using Code Igniter. Hmm.. Well, I’ll give you an overview of admin page on this project.
Login Page
This login page is featured with xss clean and password encryptionby md5 or rsa.
Dashboard
Dashboard is main page after users login. In this Dashboard, I’ll planning to provide information like last post, last comment and blog statistic.
Add Post Page
This add post page used TinyMCE editor. Users have 2 options, first hide editor (using html manually) and the second one use WYSIWYG editor just like Ms Office.
Error messages (red) will shown if the form uncompleted and if success green message will shown.
I’ll plan to adding AJAX for auto save feature and more user friendly.
Post Manager
It’s used to manage all post. Users can sort by draft or published post. I’ll plan to add some searching feature. In this post manager, users can edit and delete posts.
Comment Manager
It’s used to manage all comment. Users can approve unapproved comments on this page. This featured by Gravatar (for image identity) and IP identity with map.
Backup and Optimize Database
It’s used to backup and optimize database, but missing restore feature. I’ll plan to rebuilt this backup system^^..
Users Management
As you know, all not complete without users management. With this feature users can manage users, add new users and manage all roles.
Yeah that’s all. I’ll develop this blog management system as soon as posible. You want to join me?

Hi,
i’m just starting to work with CI, but i’m not very familiar with MVC logic..
Did you plan to release this blog system in public, because i need some application to see how this work “under the hood”.

Hi,
here i’m again
Did you plan first to finish project and release it, or you didn’t care about it anymore.
I ask this question because i like your work, and if you release these “unfinished” cms, i’m sure that many of other people including me can learn a lot of things from here.
Personally, i’ve got so many confusing questions like “what user auth library to use” etc, so i would be thankful if you can give me directions about that.
