Flash Generator [Part 1]

What is Flash Generator? Flash generator is my final project for Bachelor Degree. This project based on PHP and Ming Library. In this project I tried to explorer technology of Ming Library. In this project i focussed to generate Web banner only.

What is Ming Library? Ming Library is library made by Dave Hayden. Ming allow you to create Flash file under PHP, C++, Ruby, Perl and Python. Ming based on Object Oriented Programing. So you can easily use Ming with classes provided. Ming have many class to generate Flash object, such as shapes, gradients, bitmaps (pngs and jpegs). morphs (”shape tweens”), text, buttons, actions, sprite (”movie clips”), streaming mp3, and color transforms. Ming support almost Flash 4 featured. (some Ming tutorial here, written by me^^)

Basic on Flash generator application: you can generate your Flash banner under Web. Flash generator has any template to create your own banner. Choose the template available and then customize with your content and generate it. The embed script will shown to you after you create your banner. After banner created, banner will saved on your account database and you can review, download, delete, or use it with embed on your site.

Algorithm

step 0 > Start
step 1 > Are user registered? If no, do step 2, if yes do step 3
step 2 > Registration new user. If success do step 3, If failed back to step 1.
step 3 > Log In. If failed, back to step 1
step 4 > Go to user page
step 5 > Do you want to create banner? If yes, do step 6, if no, back to step 4
step 6 > Choose banner size, template and customize.
step 7 > Generate Banner
step 8 > Preview Banner
step 9 > Create new? If yes, back to step 6, if no, do step 10
step 10 > Finish

Architectur System

I used SQlite for database and Apache for Web server. Database used to save all user and banner information. Then Ming Library installed as PHP extention. User can access the application on his favorite Web browser with Flash player plug in installed.
